Under the concept of facility management, we understand the extensive management of buildings, institutions and services throughout their whole life cycle. The objective is the optimisation of the core business of the customer whilst taking the person, their field of work and the company objectives into consideration.
Under maintenance we understand the combination of all technical and administrative procedures as well as procedures of the management during the life cycle of a unit for the maintenance or expansion of the functional condition or the return to this so that the function which is required can be fulfilled.

Training partners and universities
In close cooperation with our training partners and universities, we reach a high level of training of the professionals in the areas of maintenance and facility management.
Professionals

We offer professionals in the areas of maintenance and technical facility management ways to continually develop in their area of expertise.
National and international associations
We maintain a close relationship with associations and organisations who share our goals and values. The cooperation with other associations and organisations serves our members alongside the professionals from the economy.
The maintenance of the international relationships and the exchange with foreign partner organisations support us in achieving our goals on a national level.

Organisation and management
Our members determine the policy of the association and approve the mission statement and statutes. The board of management is the strategic management body of the MFS. It focuses its strengths as far as possible on the development and determination of target specifications in the form of aims, plans and basic decisions. The operative management and the realisation of the board’s decisions are administered by a branch office.
In the MFS we make sure that the various areas, disciplines and language regions are represented in an equal way.
